Notes:
- Windows Vista: All Windows Vista computers already have the .NET Framework 2.0 installed.
- Windows XP: It is possible that you already have the .NET Framework 2.0 installed from other software. If you have Service Pack 3 you will have the framework installed. You can check to see if the .NET Framework 2.0 is installed by opening Control Panel and clicking the Administrative Tools icon. If there is a Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Configuration icon in the list then you have the framework installed.
- Windows 2000: It is possible that you already have the .NET Framework 2.0 installed from other software. You can check to see if the .NET Framework 2.0 is installed by opening Control Panel and clicking the Administrative Tools icon. If there is a Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Configuration icon in the list then you have the framework installed.
Which Download?
- If you already have the .NET Framework 2.0, you only have to download the small setup file without the .NET Framework 2.0 bundled with it. (7MB)
- If you do not have the .NET Framework 2.0 installed, there are two ways of getting it. You can download the full installation which includes the .NET Framework 2.0. This file is much larger (34MB). Or you can download the .NET Framework 2.0 separately from the Microsoft website.
